WATER/SEWER:
The City of Cologne’s Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, operation and maintenance of the sanitary sewer system and the storm drainage system. Water services within the City are municipally-owned and independently operated by Cologne Public Utilities. The City of Cologne hires its own employees, sets its own budget, adopts rules and regulations and fixes rates for water services. Sewer, water and storm drainage services are all billed to City residents by the City of Cologne on a monthly basis.

BRUSH/LAWN CLIPPINGS:
Residents of the City of Cologne can place their lawn clippings, leaves and brush at the brush pile located behind the City Public Works building located at 304 Louis St W. RECYCLING SERVICES:
The Carver County recycling drop off is located behind the Public Works building (304 Louis Street West). The gates are open Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the first and third Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The site will be closed on all observed holidays.
