Cologne Public Works will be flushing hydrants this week Tuesday, Oct 21; Wednesday, Oct 22; and Thursday, Oct 23rd between the hours of 9:00am-3:00pm
Please avoid taking a shower or washing clothes during flushing times, you could possibly see iron or a fog in the water along with temporary drop in water pressure. This is normal.
It is a good idea to rinse out the waterline coming into your house by turning on the water faucet closest to your meter.
