MN State Legislature passed a bill increasing the safe drinking water fee.
What this means for you: Currently, City Residents pay $0.81 per month to the State for Safe Drinking Water Act. Residents will see this rate increase to $1.26 on the next utility bill.
This is not a City increase this is a Minnesota fee, the City collects payment from each connection to pay the state quarterly.
